New School
On 20th February, 2006 Coláiste Bríde moved into a brand new ultra modern school.
When the students returned from mid term break on 20th February 2006, they returned to a new school. The building work is continuing with the Gym and Canteen area at the moment.
The new school includes ultra modern facilities such as:
| 4 ultra Modern Science Labs | 3 Home Economics Kitchens |

The colour scheme for the school has been specifically chosen to stimulate learning. Research indicates that cool colours work best among 12 – 18 year old student population. The colours also reflect the school colours used in the uniform.
The St. Brigid’s Cross design featured in the Reception and General Purpose Area was designed by Kate Griffin, a sixth year student of Coláiste Bríde while on work experience in an architect’s office.
In keeping with the modern school design the floor covering is a hardwearing, durable and colourful material called marmoleum.
