Coláiste Bríde is a vibrant post primary school that places relationships at the centre of everything we do. I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead this fabulous school community. We set high expectations for our students who thrive in a warm and welcoming atmosphere based on mutual respect. This atmosphere permeates everyday school life where students, teachers and parents work in partnership to ensure every student reaches their true and full potential.
We are a proud Presentation School under the trusteeship of CEIST. Inclusion and diversity are at the core of what we do. The CEIST Values include -promoting spiritual and human development, achieving quality teaching and learning, showing respect for every person, creating community and being just and responsible. These values are lived out daily and guide all the decisions that we make in our school. I believe our school provides a holistic education, developing the whole person: spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We are here to serve the Clondalkin community and place the student at the centre.
We pride ourselves in providing excellence in teaching and learning to all students in an inclusive school environment. This excellence is provided by our passionate teachers who inspire students in their classrooms to aim high and work hard. Our classrooms are well resourced with learning materials and digital technology that enhance the learning experience for all. Our school building is a stunning modern build which encourages creativity and innovation.
Our extensive range of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities enable students to get fully involved in our school community. Sport, Green Flag, Active School Flag, Learning Leaders, Care Club, Music, Debating, Choir are just a small snap shot of we have on offer to students.
We have a growth mindset and embed the belief that with hard work, anything is possible. We are a College for Every Student school of Distinction and Innovation. We are linked with Trinity College who provide students with many opportunities and programmes which embed a college going culture. Building this belief from 1st Year has proven to work as our college progression statistics speak for themselves.
